Plax Too Good For Team, Suspended One Game…

Giants WR Plaxico Burress is a different kind of guy. He’s a He-Man. He pretty much does what he wants, when he wants, and this time his actions caught up to him.

After showing his teammates that he basically thinks he’s better than them by not reporting to the Giants’ facility on Monday or Tuesday - and not returning phone calls from team officials - Burress was suspended for one game by the front office and head coach Tom Coughlin.

Fantasy owners will be without Burress both this week (NYG’s bye), and next week against Seattle. Plax will return in Week 6 at Cleveland, and likely be a must-start. Expect Amani Toomer and Steve Smith to pick up the slack in his absence.
