| FFChamps is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers favor Luke McCown over Brian Griese as Jeff Garcia’s back-up right now.
No-Offseason Take: Much will happen between now and Week 1. While Garcia is expected to be the starter, it’s clear that Jon Gruden is still really searching for his franchise QB. Expect rookie Josh Johnson to get some preseason looks, and don’t be surprised if Gruden tries to swap out Chris Simms for another signal caller during training camp.
