Colts Lock Up Clark For Six Years…

After franchising Dallas Clark earlier, the Colts found cap space to lock him up for six years.  Even though he’s a TE, Indy has used him as a third wide receiver and will continue to.  We consider him a top five tight end heading into 2008.

Bernard Berrian, Bears WR

Word is that the Bears may franchise Bernard Berrian if they can’t resign him by Thursday, February 21.  If he hits the open market, there’s still a chance he could end up back with Chicago in 2008.  Berrian has the talent to be a very solid fantasy contributor even if he switches teams.

Andre Hall, Broncos RB

Broncos RB Andre Hall was arrested for driving with a suspended license.  He was released an hour later, so it shouldn’t be a huge deal at all, but monitor him, because sometimes behavior like this repeats itself.

Mark Bradley, Bears WR

Bradley, a fourth year WR from Oklahoma, is reportedly finally recovered from a torn ACL he suffered in 2005.  Look for him to play more of a roll in the Bears offense in 2008.

Zach Thomas, Former Dolphins LB

Zach Thomas is continuing to tour and visit NFL teams.  He reportedly visited with the Broncos.  If he lands there, D.J. Williams would likely move over to the weak side and Thomas would be a solid fantasy option at middle linebacker.

D.J. Hackett, Seahawks WR

D.J. Hackett will hit the open market on February 29, because the Seahawks will not franchise him.  He’ll be one of the hottest WRs on the open market this season.
