  |   In an interview with ESPN, Ladainian Tomlinson said that he won’t play five more seasons in the NFL. At the age of 29, we don’t think he has a choice. LT had previously made it clear that he’d play until the top rushing records were broken, but now - more than 7,000 yards away from Emmitt Smith - he’s re-thinking that approach.
Listen, this headline was a bit misleading, in that he’s not going to retire within the next two seasons. However, it is relevant in that his most recent knee injury could be affecting his thinking, which means it could be more serious that anyone has let on.
