Fantasy owners have been a little nervous recently about the status of Colts WR Marvin Harrison and Bills RB Marshawn Lynch as it relates to their alleged involvement in two separate off-the-field altercations of which they’ve been dragged into due to their ownership of various possessions.
In Lynch’s case, a car that hit a pedestrian in Buffalo a few weeks ago. In Harrison’s case, a “cop-killing” gun used in a shooting in North Philly a couple months ago.
Word is that Lynch’s case will be resolved soon, and we don’t expect him to do any time or miss any football at all.
Harrison is in a bit of a different situation, in that nobody is coming forward to help the police move this case forward, and it appears to be stalling out. While this is bad news for Philly police, it’s good news for Harrison’s fantasy owners, as there’s really no way that he’ll be in any danger of missing any football due to this circumstance.
Lynch is a solid RB1 and first round draft choice in all league formats, while Harrison is a fantasy X-factor coming back from knee injuries in 2008.
