Byron Leftwich (QB)
8/28: With incumbent backup quarterback Charlie Batch on the mend of a broken collar bone, Byron Leftwich has come into the Steelers offense and impressed. According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Leftwich might have performed well enough to earn the back up job even after Batch is healthy.
