Ray Rice Falls To Ravens…

The Ravens are thrilled to get Rutgers RB Ray Rice with the 55th overall pick in the NFL Draft, but fantasy owners shouldn’t be thrilled that this happened. Rice has solid upside, but not buried behind Willis McGahee. We suspect he’ll play a lot on third downs, and possibly contribute a bit in PPR leagues, but he won’t take very much work away from McGahee.

The only way Ray Rice will be a fantasy option is if McGahee goes down for a long period of time, which probably means his owners should protect their investment by handcuffing him with Rice.
