Fantasy Impact: J-Stewart Is Legit He’s not the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, but he may rapidly become the most famous person named Jon Stewart - especially if he continues to run the way he did against Washington on Saturday night.

Look, as much as we brag when we hit predictions right on the money, we also are the first to admit when we’re wrong. Our loyal readers know that we’ve been down on J-Stew during the entire NFL off-season, and we’ve jocked DeAngelo Williams pretty hard.

Well, we still jock Williams, but now we also jock Stewart, the rookie 13th overall pick from Oregon. Sometimes, all it takes is actually watching somebody play at the pro level. Due to Stewart’s toe injury and lack of practice reps, we didn’t believe he’d translate well to the pro level during his rookie season. Well, all of that changed completely after seeing him rush 10 times for 100 yards and a score against the ‘Skins during preseason Week 3.

The jersey number 28 isn’t the only thing this kid shares in common with last year’s offensive rookie of the year and fantasy phenom Adrian Peterson. Stewart cut well, showed great quickness, power bursting through the line, the ability to break tackles, and ridiculous home run speed.

In short, this kid is a monster, and a top three dynasty rookie-only pick - no doubt. Stewart has the makings of a future 1,500 yard, double digit TD rusher. He may not get there this year, with the speedy Williams scheduled to start and take half of the reps, but he’ll definitely have some huge games.

Both backs are very solid flex/RB3 options in seasonal leagues, and should produce like Fred Taylor and Mojo Drew did last season. 1,000 yards for each back isn’t out of the question - there, I said it.

Get ready for some exciting football in Carolina this season, as QB Jake Delhomme looks very good as well, and could be a solid fantasy starter in all formats when Steve Smith returns from this two-game suspension.
