Week 5 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike

Week 5 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike Week 5 of the NFL season promises to be very interesting, folks. From fantasy owners dealing with injuries and bye weeks, to new faces in new places, there is much to analyze. However, we here at No-Offseason.com still know who we like and who we don’t like heading into Week 5…and for everyone in between, you can always check out our player rankings.

Who do we like at QB in Week 5?

Well, other than the obvious guys, we’re very fond of Chicago’s Kyle Orton, who has tossed five TDs in his last two games. Not only does he have Chicago’s offense rolling, but he heads to Detroit to play the lowly Lions. Believe it or not, we’re calling Orton a top 10 fantasy QB this week.

We also really like Jake Delhomme to play well at home against the Chiefs. Granted, KC looked really good against Denver in Week 4, but Delhomme is really finding his comfort zone with both Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad in the line-up.

We also like Matt Schaub against Indy and Kurt Warner against Buffalo.

Who do we dislike at QB in Week 5?

Kerry Collins at Baltimore. Expect the Ravens to pressure the crap out of the old man, and sorry - but, the Justins - McCareins and Gage - won’t be able to get open against the Ravens’ stingy secondary. This could be the Titans first loss of the season.

Which RBs do we like in Week 5?

From a sleeper standpoint, we really like Felix Jones against the Bengals, as Wade Phillips made it clear he’d be more involved this week, as well as Michael Pittman at home against his former team, the Buccaneers.

Earnest Graham and Matt Forte are our not-so-obvious must-starts this week.

Who are this week’s RB busts?

We really don’t like Deuce McAllister against Minnesota or Larry Johnson at Carolina.

Which WRs do we like in Week 5?

T.O. will have a field day against Cincy’s depleted secondary, meaning we also like Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin against the Bengals.

Larry Fitzgerald should light up Buffalo’s depleted defense, as Marcus Stroud and Terrence McGee went down last week against the Rams.

Keep an eye on Bobby Engram in Seattle, as he could be a solid sleeper if he starts. Amani Toomer is our sleeper of the week in that match-up at the Meadowlands.

Santonio Holmes should be in all line-ups at Jacksonville on Sunday night, after he finally got on the map against Baltimore last week.

Which TEs do we like in Week 5?

Dallas Clark at Houston, Anthony Fasano hosting San Diego and Kevin Boss vs. Seattle.

Which IDPs do we like in Week 5?

Expect Aaron Kampman and Nick Barnett to get back on track against an Atlanta offense that will likely be without starting LT Sam Baker. Since Cullen Jenkins is out for the season, don’t be surprised to see Kabeer Gbajia-Biamila make an impact as well.

Adewale Ogunleye, Alex Brown, Lance Briggs, Brian Urlacher, Kevin Payne and Charles Tillman are also favorite IDPs of ours this week against the Lions.
