Andre & Randy Are Good To Go

Andre & Randy Are Good To Go After Week 1, life was good for owners of Randy Moss (six catches, 116 yards, one TD) and Andre Johnson (10 catches, 112 yards), as each star wide out had a solid statistical outing to start the season. However, in the weeks that ensued, both pass catchers gave their fantasy owners reason to be concerned, as the two combined for a mere 11 catches for 114 yards over their next two games.

These sub-par performances have caused fantasy owners to group them with struggling fellow big name wide-outs Chad Johnson, Braylon Edwards and Torry Holt – and question their overall value.

Following solid performances in Week 5, however, fantasy owners no longer need to wonder what to do with them. Both Johnson and Moss are locked in as must-starts moving forward. Upcoming opponents for Moss include the Chargers, Broncos and Rams, while Johnson’s next opponents are the Dolphins, Lions and Bengals. All but one of those teams are in the bottom 10 in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game. The one that’s not in the bottom 10 – Cincy – is still without starting corner Johnathan Joseph. Detroit, Miami, Denver, St. Louis and San Diego are also in the league’s bottom eight in TD passes allowed.

Expect Johnson, who lit up the Colts for nine catches, 131 yards and a TD, and Moss, who got back on track with five catches for 111 yards and a TD this past week, to be two of the league’s best fantasy options over the next three weeks – no question about it.
