Williams, Edwards, Kelly, Weddle, Anderson, Odom, Moore Rising…

Rising - Demorrio Williams & Donnie Edwards, Chiefs LBs - The Chiefs signed soon-to-be 28 year old five year veteran linebacker Demorrio Williams to start on the weak side in 2008. What this means for veteran Donnie Edwards is that he’ll move to middle linebacker in Herm Edwards’ 4-3 scheme, while Derrick Johnson plays the strong side and Napoleon Harris hits the pine. Look for Williams to be a very solid fantasy sleeper, like he was in 2005, when he racked up a career high 127 tackles. The move to the middle should also mean an increase in production for the aging Edwards. Read more
Boss Bailey Visits Denver

Champ’s brother Boss reportedly visited Denver recently with the hopes of signing a deal. The Packers have also shown interest in the big, fast LB who didn’t really stay healthy during his career with the Lions.

Sammy Knight, Giants SS

The Giants signed vetearn safety Sammy Knight to a three year deal. Knight, a solid SS, will start and remain a great IDP option in 2008.
Brian Griese, Buccaneers QB
