Brandon Jacobs Says G-Men Can Run Against 22
November 16, 2008
In a great post-game interview with a CBS sideline reporter following the Giants’ 30-10 win over the Ravens in Week 11, Brandon Jacobs - who rushed for 73 yards and two TDs on 11 carries, but missed the whole second half with a sore knee, stated that the Giants can run on anybody - “it doesn’t matter who we play - other teams can put 22 defenders out there against us and we’d still be successful.”
He-Man? You bet, but with the way the Giants have been playing this season, we believe him, kind of.
49ers Have Confidence In Shaun Hill
November 16, 2008
He’s thrown for five TDs in three games thus far this season - in two starts - and he threw for five TDs in three games last season. 49ers 28 year old starter Shaun Hill has looked solid in relief of J.T. O’Sullivan, but what does the future hold for the signal caller? Read more
We Were Right About, We Were Wrong About
November 16, 2008
Packers RB Ryan Grant is one of the NFL’s hottest RBs, rushing for 411 yards and three TDs in his last four games, including a season high 145 yards in Week 11. We predicted that Grant would be a very solid fantasy starter against the Bears, and should be in all line-ups next week against the Saints. Read more
Week 11 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike
November 12, 2008
Lions rookie RB Kevin Smith is among those players we’re advising fantasy owners to stay away from this week. Not only does he have an unfriendly match-up at Carolina, but he’s suffering from a groin injury. Check out who else we like and dislike in Week 11. Read more

Ahmad Bradshaw Is NFL’s Latest Jail Bird…
June 19, 2008
Many fantasy owners were freaking gung-ho about Giants rookie RB Ahmad Bradshaw towards the end of the 2007 season. We weren’t - for many reasons. Now, it appears that Bradshaw has been locked up for violating probation. Apparently he has been in jail since Father’s Day, June 15. It’s unknown whether or not the NFL will suspend him, but it may not matter, because he’s nothing more than Brandon Jacobs’ occasional back-up anyway.
Don’t count on Bradshaw as more than a flier in points per reception leagues.
2008 Fantasy “X-Factors”
June 19, 2008
2008 is chalked full of guys that could go either way. Guys who are more than capable of putting up huge digits, but only if everything goes perfectly right. We call these guys Fantasy “X-Factors” due to the fact that a certain set of circumstances could spark them to light up the stat column and become a true difference maker. Philly’s Donovan McNabb, who has only played in 33 total games in three seasons since throwing for 3,800 yards and 31 TDs in 2004, is the perfect example of a Fantasy “X-Factor.” Read more

Yesterday, we left you with Roddy White being selected towards the end of round three of the most recent experts draft, a shocking surprise to us here at No-Offseason.com. Today, we analyze round four and one thing that really caught our eye - Dallas’ Jason Witten being the top tight end taken. Check out the rest of round four and what we think of Witten being snagged prior to Antonio Gates and Kellen Winslow. Read more
Brandon Jacobs Participates Fully In Practice…
June 11, 2008
Giants 6′4″ starting running back Brandon Jacobs was a full participant in Giants practice today. This is great news for his keeper owners, as he had some sort of wrist procedure done earlier in the off-season.
We believe Big BJ will be healthy this year, and that Ahmad Bradshaw and Derrick Ward are minimal threats to his fantasy value. Jacobs has a very high ceiling, which we love about him.
Brandon Jacobs Confident In Health…
May 21, 2008
Giants RB Brandon Jacobs commented to the media yesterday about being pegged as injury prone. The 6′4″ RB stated that he plans on playing in all 16 games in 2008, and feels he’s ready to prove that he can stay healthy for an entire season.
As weird as it sounds, it’s really good that he’s focusing on this. Sorry Ahmad Bradshaw owners, but BJ’s health is probably the only thing holding this beast back from being a 1,500 yard rusher.
How To Handle An Auction Draft
May 20, 2008
I recently participated in a very interesting expert mock auction for an upcoming fantasy football publication and was reminded of some consistent themes that fantasy owners can look for in just about every auction draft. The most glaring one at the end of the night, as Brandon Jacobs went for less money than guys like Vince Young, David Garrard, Chris Chambers, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James and Willie Parker, was that there are always studs who slip through the cracks. Mock Draft: Lynch Is A Round 2 Sleeper
May 9, 2008
Just the other day, I shared with No-Offseason readers the first round of a recent expert mock draft I participated in. As the draft moves along, I’ll continue to break the thing down, round-by-round, to help get owners thinking about draft strategies and values of specific players. In round two, some new names will strike you - including Buffalo’s breakout RB Marshawn Lynch. Read more
