Many fantasy football owners have asked us about Philip Rivers’ status this off-season. Will Rookie QBs Have Fantasy Value?
May 16, 2008
Many folks close to NFL teams, as well as several analysts have already come out and said that guys like Baltimore Ravens first round pick Joe Flacco, and Miami Dolphins second round pick Chad Henne, have a good chance at starting for their respective teams sometime in 2008. The question I want to clear up is - do any of this year’s rookie QBs have a shot at fantasy stardom? Read more
Josh McCown To Start For Dolphins?
May 8, 2008
Word out of South Beach is that a couple Dolphins beat writers believe that Tony Sparano will elect to go with veteran Josh McCown as his Week 1 starter, over rookie Chad Henne, and second year man John Beck. Sparano had hinted previously that Beck was the guy. Many also believe that Henne will take over by Week 6 or so. This has QB controversy written all over it, and fantasy owners should stay away from Miami’s signal callers in 2008.
It would make sense to start the year with McCown, as he’d probably give the ‘Phins the best chance of winning some games.
Brohm To Packers; Henne To Dolphins…
April 26, 2008
Round two stayed exciting until the very end, as the Packers snagged Louisville signal caller Brian Brohm to develop behind new starter Aaron Rodgers and the Dolphins traded into the 57th pick immediately after that to select U-M QB Chad Henne to develop behind new starter John Beck.
Both rookies will have high dynasty upside, as each of their respective systems suits them well.

Jason Taylor Makes Demands…
April 23, 2008
Word is that Jason Taylor will threated to retire if he’s traded to a non-contender. He’ll also demand a new contract from any team he’s dealt to.
Okay, so this implies that he’s going to get traded. Miami is expected to make some moves and try and get back into the first round on Saturday to pick U-M QB Chad Henne, Auburn OLB/DE Quentin Groves or Florida DE Derrick Harvey.
A trade out of Miami to a true 4-3 team might be great for Taylor’s fantasy value.
Hardy & Henne Come Off The Board
April 7, 2008
This is starting to get fun. After today’s selections, we’re more than 40 picks into our mock draft, and there are still plenty of solid prospects remaining - most of whom will have fantasy significance. Indiana’s James Hardy is today’s spotlight fantasy prospect, as he goes to Baltimore in the early second round. Read more
Mendenhall To Be Top RB?
March 1, 2008
Many of our sources believe Illinois RB Rashard Mendenhall is the top running back prospect in the 2008 NFL Draft. While Arkansas’ Darren McFadden has held that title since officially declaring for the draft and likely will be selected in the top five in April, Mendenhall has the measureables and potential to be a better pro.
