Rising - Demorrio Williams & Donnie Edwards, Chiefs LBs - The Chiefs signed soon-to-be 28 year old five year veteran linebacker Demorrio Williams to start on the weak side in 2008. What this means for veteran Donnie Edwards is that he’ll move to middle linebacker in Herm Edwards’ 4-3 scheme, while Derrick Johnson plays the strong side and Napoleon Harris hits the pine. Look for Williams to be a very solid fantasy sleeper, like he was in 2005, when he racked up a career high 127 tackles. The move to the middle should also mean an increase in production for the aging Edwards. Read more

The Browns’ failure to lock up Derek Anderson prior to the start of free agency leads many to believe that he’ll get a HUGE offer from someone on the open market. Of course the Browns can match the offer, but teams may be willing to offer first and third round picks for the 6′6″ 24 year old QB.
