Heading into Week 2 of the fantasy season, there are already tons of questions running rampant in the minds of owners. Rookie running backs shined, no name WRs produced and IDPs stepped up to the plate – but there are still certain questions regarding what owners should take from Week 1 and apply to Week 2. Read more
Our Sources Speak: 2008 Predictions
September 5, 2008
Last season, we predicted that Jamal Lewis would be a huge sleeper RB candidate as the featured back for the Cleveland Browns, following three straight sub-par seasons in Baltimore. Now, heading into 2008, we’re not so high on Lewis. Our sources have spoken. Find out what crazy predictions we’re making for the 2008 season based on their words. Read more
Experts Draft: Roddy White Goes In Rd. 3
June 16, 2008
Falcons WR Roddy White had a breakout third season in 2007, hauling in 83 passes for 1,202 yards and six scores in Bobby Petrino and Hue Jackson’s high flying offense, but will the stat column translate over to 2008 under the much more conservative and run-friendly Mike Smith and Mike Mularkey? We don’t think so, but find out who did, as we analyze the third round of our most recent experts league draft. Read more
Edwards, Lewis Miss Browns Practice…
May 29, 2008
Word is that Braylon Edwards - who hasn’t practiced in over a week due to a hip flexor injury - and Jamal Lewis both missed Browns practice yesterday due to personal reasons.
We do not believe this is anything for their fantasy owners to be concerned with.
Jamal Lewis Looks Great In Practice…
May 26, 2008
Cleveland media is reporting that Browns 29 year old RB Jamal Lewis is looking very good in practice. Lewis is reportedly in the best shape of his career, looking lean and strong. The Browns RB has predicted that he’ll reach 1,500 yards this season.
Apparently, Braylon Edwards has also looked very strong in practices, despite his recent hip injury, and WR Donte’ Stallworth has struggled a bit trying to learn the pass routes in Rob Chudzinski’s offense.

DeAngelo, Jamal, Z.Thomas, Mendenhall, McFadden Rising…
March 2, 2008
Rising - DeAngelo Williams, Panthers RB - Panthers second year former first round draft pick DeAngelo Williams definitely finished 2007 with a bang. Even though the Panthers just missed the playoffs due to the lack of a solid quarterback, Williams emerged as a bright spot for the present and future, rushing for 60 or more yards in four of his last five games, including an 82 yard performance and a 121 yard, two TD outing in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Williams has similar skill sets to Philly featured back Brian Westbrook, and if given the opportunity to start in 2008, he’ll be a fantasy stud - no questions asked. Now, that may seem like a big “if,” but he did average 5.0 yards per carry to starter DeShaun Foster’s 3.5, and scored one more TD than Foster in 103 less touches. More importantly his pass blocking and blitz pick up skills improved, which we were told were the only two things holding him back from being an every down player. Now that Foster has been released, the job belongs solely to Williams, and we expect him to flourish. Rumor has it that the Panthers will bring in another RB to compete with him, but we don’t really buy it. In other words, say hello to the next stud fantasy RB. Read more
