Cutler’s Comments Worthy Of A He-Man…

October 13, 2008

No-Offseason.com is hearing that Jay Cutler recently told The Sporting News that he has “a stronger arm than John (Elway), hands down.”

“I’ll bet on it against anybody’s in the league,” he went on to say. “Brett Favre’s got a cannon. But on game days, there’s nobody in the league who’s going to throw it harder than I am.” Cutler also apparently called Denver the favorite to win the AFC.

Well, that’s the type of confidence we like to see out of a young signal caller, and quite frankly, we don’t disagree with him - about the arm strength, that is.

He also has shown more energy, and more zip on his ball.

We love Cutler as a solid fantasy QB1 prospect in 2008.

Jay Cutler Weighs In At 230…

May 17, 2008

Now that Denver Broncos QB Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, he should be able to control his weight much better in 2008. Cutler lost forty pounds during last season, and couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t maintaining his weight.

We’re not concerned about his condition affecting his play this year, but his lack of solid weapons at WR with Brandon Marshall potentially missing the first part of training camp, has knocked him down a few notches on our seasonal rankings.
