Week 4 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike
September 25, 2008
In spite of the horrible QB situation and absolutely putrid offense in Kansas City, second year receiver Dwayne Bowe has had a very respectable first three games of the season, racking up 15 catches for 182 yards and two TDs. In Week 4, K.C. hosts Denver, who has been in a shootout every week thus far, and veteran Damon Huard could take over for Tyler Thigpen, which would bode well for Bowe’s digits. Read more
Freak Says Philly Will Regret Releasing Him…
July 4, 2008
In an interesting comment, soon-to-be 33 year old Titans defensive end Jevon “The Freak” Kearse told the Philadelphia Daily News that the Eagles would regret not re-signing him this off-season.
Come on. Really? Maybe Kearse forgot that he’s only recorded 3.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons, and recently got arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
Sorry Freak, but you have a false He-Mannish opinion of yourself. Good luck with that.
IDPs & Brandon Jackson On The Rise…
June 24, 2008
Our stock market report has typically forecasted the increase or decrease in player values from a fantasy perspective. While it will continue to do that, we’re also adding a new spin on it this season. Read more
Johnson, Bradley, Kearse, Jones Rising; Walker, Washington, Alexander Falling…
March 24, 2008
Rising - Bryant Johnson, 49ers WR - 26 year old 6′3″ WR Bryant Johnson signed a one-year deal with San Francisco. This could be just what the former first rounder needs to get his career in gear. He now goes from being one of the NFL’s most talented back-up WRs to being in one of the NFL’s most high powered passing offenses. He definitely could play the Roy Williams roll in Mike Martz’s offense. Read more
IDP King - Get To Know Niko
March 9, 2008
‘Tis the season for player movement my friends, but much of the focus this time of year, is on which running backs, wide receivers, quarterbacks and tight ends switch teams. Sometimes lost in the shuffle is the analysis regarding which individual defensive players have shifted around the league and what IDP player movement means to the fantasy value of not only the guys who have changed addresses, but also their new and former teammates.

Drew Carter, a 6′3″ wide out with a lot of potential, visited the Titans recently. He’s someone to follow.
Stewart Bradley, Philly LB
No-Offseason.com
The second year 6′3″ LB is the favorite to start in the middle after Philly cut Takeo Spikes.
Jevon Kearse, Titans DE
No-Offseason.com
After the loss of Antwan Odom and Travis LaBoy to free agency, Jevon Kearse returns to start across from Kyle Vanden Bosch. If the 30 plus year old can stay healthy, he’ll be a sleeper fantasy option.
SJax To Get Long Term Deal…
February 25, 2008
Scott Linehan assured the media that locking up Steven Jackson to a long term deal would happen sometime very soon. The Rams are not believed to have interest in selecting Arkansas’ RB Darren McFadden with the second overall pick.
Bryant Johnson, Cardinals WR
No-Offseason.com
The Cardinals have not made a move to lock up UFA WR Bryant Johnson and likely won’t, meaning he’ll get a solid opportunity elsewhere. If he lands somewhere like Carolina, Houston, Minnesota, Kansas City or Tampa Bay, he could play a solid roll in deep fantasy leagues in 2008.
Brandon Jackson, Packers RB
No-Offseason.com
The Packers are hopeful that second year back Brandon Jackson can step in and be a solid third down back in 2008. Don’t get us wrong, Ryan Grant is the guy and will still see substantial third down work, but Jackson could be a contributor.
Javon Kearse, Eagles DE
No-Offseason.com
The Eagles will reportedly cut ties with the oft-injured veteran very soon. That could be the end of him.
Erasmus James, Vikings DE
No-Offseason.com
The Vikings don’t believe that former first round draft pick Erasmus James, who has undergone three knee surgeries since 2005, will make an impact in 2008.
Jonathan Vilma, Jets LB
No-Offseason.com
New York has granted permission for LB Jonathan Vilma to speak to 30 teams regarding a potential trade. The Patriots are the only team that Vilma can’t talk to. If he lands somewhere in a 4-3 scheme - like Detroit or Cincy - he could be the fantasy IDP comeback player of the year.
