McGahee Returns, Jones On Fire, Bills Struggling

November 10, 2008

It’s taken 10 weeks for fantasy owners to put their fingers on several issues this season. Is Willis McGahee still the man in Baltimore? When will Kellen Winslow, Marques Colston and Peyton Manning bounce back? and - can Denver Broncos’ rookie Eddie Royal be counted on as a solid fantasy option? Read more

Michael Turner & Roddy White Are Legit…

October 5, 2008

Well, we’ll be the first to admit that we were extremely skeptical of the Atlanta Falcons offense this season. Even after phenomenal performances against the Lions and Chiefs in Weeks 1 & 3, we needed to see Atlanta come out and do it for real against a proven team. In Week 5, they waltzed into Green Bay and led their team to a 27-24 victory, while also posting some pretty solid fantasy digits themselves. Read more

Fantasy Football Week 3 Predictions

Week 3 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike

September 18, 2008

Week 3 - Who We Like, Who We Dislike Eli Manning exploded for 260 yards and three TDs against the Rams in Week 2, after a below average Week 1 performance against the Redskins. Many fantasy sites like him at home against Cincy in Week 2, find out why we don’t - as well as who else we like and dislike this week. Read more

Fantasy Football Week 1 - WR Questions

Fantasy Football Week 1 - WR Questions As fantasy owners get ready for Week 1, there are several question marks surrounding the wide receiver position. Evans Has Chemistry With Edwards

July 31, 2008

Evans Has Chemistry With Edwards Bills 27 year old fifth year WR Lee Evans has had a solid pro career thus far, despite not having much stability at the QB position. He began his career catching balls from veteran Drew Bledsoe, and has had to adjust to catching passes from J.P. Losman and Trent Edwards over the past two seasons. However, it looks like Evans and the Bills have finally found their fit in 2008. Read more

Fantasy Sleeper: Lee Evans

BUF: TE Anderson could challenge for starts

July 14, 2008

Courtney Anderson (TE) 7/14: Free agent acquisition Courtney Anderson is considered the favorite to chalenge the incumbent, Robert Royal, as the starting tight end in Buffalo this season, according to buffalorumblings.com. No-Offseason Take: As improved as we believe Buffalo's offense will be in 2008, we don't really think TE will be a major position. Expect Marshawn Lynch, Lee Evans and James Hardy to see the rock a lot, but neither TE will make an impact in the stat column.

Experts Draft: There’s Value In Round 5

June 19, 2008

calvin-johnson.jpgThroughout our entire experts draft, I’ve been stressing the importance behind waiting until round five to take a quarterback. As you’ll see, there are plenty of top signal callers available at this point in our draft. However, QB isn’t the only position where value can be found, as Detroit’s Calvin Johnson, Kansas City’s Dwayne Bowe and Green Bay’s Greg Jennings are all top young WRs who flew off the board in round five. Lee Evans Misses Practice…

June 4, 2008

Buffalo Bills’ 26 year old WR Lee Evans missed practice on Tuesday, and has sat out most of Buffalo’s off-season work thus far after undergoing shoulder surgery a couple months ago.

Evans is expected to make a full recovery by training camp and participate fully in July and August. We expect him to be a very solid WR3 in 2008, with the capability of putting up WR1 numbers any given week.

Bills Show Confidence In Lee Evans…

May 20, 2008

Despite having shoulder surgery this off-season, the Buffalo Bills are intent on locking up 26 year old WR Lee Evans to a long term deal. They’ve reportedly made him a contract offer, as they see him as a franchise player for years to come.

This confidence in Evans, despite a down year in 2007, is a solid sign for his long-term fantasy value. His dynasty owners need to hang onto him and hope that his speed and big play ability can bring them a few more seasons like his statistically-brilliant 2006 campaign.

Lee Evans Injury Update…

May 19, 2008

Bills WR Lee Evans missed 11-on-11 portions of the team’s first spring practice due to off-season shoulder surgery. Since Evans is on the recovering side of things, we’re not worried about him. He should benefit from new offensive coordinator Turk Schonert and new WR James Hardy.

Evans is a solid WR2/WR3 in deep leagues.
