Brandon Marshall Returns
September 10, 2008
One issue that many fantasy outlets haven’t even discussed yet is the return of perhaps the best player in fantasy football - that’s right. Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall returns from a shortened suspension to face the San Diego Chargers in Week 2. Marshall should be in all fantasy line-ups, because when it’s all said and done, he may just be the most dominant force in fantasy football. Read more
Impact: Marques Colston Out 4-6 Weeks
September 10, 2008
We knew something was up. The Saints just don’t throw for 343 yards and three TDs, spreading the ball around the field, and only get their best receiver the ball three times for 26 yards. As it turns out, Marques Colston was injured, and has undergone thumb surgery that will keep him out four to six weeks. What should fantasy owners expect as a result of this? Read more
Fantasy Football Week 2 Questions
September 9, 2008
Heading into Week 2 of the fantasy season, there are already tons of questions running rampant in the minds of owners. People are trying to figure out what to do with the bizarre Tom Brady-less world that they now live in, after Chiefs strong safety Bernard Pollard rolled into number 12’s knee on the Patriots’ opening drive of the 2008 season. Rookie running backs shined, no name WRs produced and IDPs stepped up to the plate – but there are still certain questions regarding what owners should take from Week 1 and apply to Week 2. Read more

Expert Draft: Bush Goes Before LJ
June 13, 2008
Recently, I participated in Fantasy Football Indepth’s expert challenge, where No-Offseason.com went head-to-head with publications like Rotoworld.com, Pro Football Weekly, CBSSports.com, Athlon Sports, FantasyGuru.com, USA Today, Fanball.com and more. The other day, I showed you the first round, but now let’s take a look at why Reggie Bush was taken before Larry Johnson in round two. Read more
Marques Colston Is Practicing Well…
June 2, 2008
You may not have heard this, but the 25 year old Colston - who is entering his third season - had his knee scoped this off-season, as well as some bone chips removed from his knee.
His dynasty owners shouldn’t worry though, as the 6′5″ beast has been practicing without restrictions or setbacks. He should be 100 percent healthy by training camp, and a top five receiver in 2008.
Several Veterans Won’t Skip Mini-Camp…
May 30, 2008
We’re hearing that guys like Chicago’s Brian Urlacher, New Orleans’ Marques Colston and Cincy’s T.J. Houshmandzadeh, and even Miami’s Jason Taylor and Arizona’s Anquan Boldin and Edgerrin James will not skip upcoming mandatory mini-camps in June.
It’ll be interesting to see if Cleveland’s Kellen Winslow shows up in Cleveland as well. We believe he will.
Devery Henderson May Get Cut…
May 26, 2008
Word is that Saints WR Devery Henderson is not guaranteed a roster spot in 2008. Robert Meachem and Adrian Arrington appear to be the most fantasy worthy WRs on the Saints roster other than Marques Colston at this point. Sorry, but we don’t really like David Patten or Lance Moore much either.
Adrian Arrington Is A Fantasy Sleeper…
May 12, 2008
Two years ago at this time, we wrote a little article about a man named Marques Colston, a seventh round pick of the New Orleans Saints.
Now, we’re telling you to watch out for another man who falls in the same category, U-M’s Adrian Arrington.
Saints front man Sean Payton apparently loved what he saw from Arrington during post NFL Draft workouts. Arrington doesn’t have any prolific WRs in front of him on the depth chart, so he’s a candidate to earn a starting gig opposite Colston. Arrington is the definition of a solid deep dynasty league sleeper.
Mock: McGahee Available In Round 3?
May 10, 2008
After sharing round one with you earlier in the week, and round two yesterday, I’ve decided to go ahead and continue to break down the recent expert mock draft I participated in. The shockers continue, as I have to make a tough decision between Willis McGahee and Marques Colston in round three. Read more
Jeremy Shockey Traded To Saints…
April 26, 2008
Word is that the Saints will trade for Jeremy Shockey sometime today, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. This will be a huge fantasy move for Shockey. If he can stay healthy, he’ll become one of the top five fantasy TEs in 2008 in Sean Payton’s offense.
We don’t think this hurts Marques Colston’s value at all - but it does help Drew Brees by giving him yet another quality option. This means that there’s less of a need to rush Robert Meachem on the field as well.
