Sam Hurd A Fantasy Sleeper In `08?

May 22, 2008

Word is that the Cowboys really like Sam Hurd. The 6′2″, 196 pounder from Northern Illinois is T.O.’s back-up, but has run a little as the ‘Boys third WR during OTAs.

T.O. loves him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he pushes Patrick Crayton a little this year, especially if Terry Glenn misses time. Dallas didn’t draft a WR in 2008, which gives Hurd some dynasty PO.Â

Terry Glenn To Start In 2008?

April 30, 2008

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently told the media that 34 year old WR Terry Glenn, who missed  nearly all of the 2008 season with bone-on-bone in his knee, has a “50-50″ chance to start opposite Terrell Owens in 2008.

Well, the fact that Dallas didn’t draft a WR tells us he might not be fibbing, but it’s hard to believe it after last season.

Patrick Crayton played well, and Jason Witten is a force to be reckoned with, so Glenn could also very easily be released during training camp if his knee can’t hold up. Dallas is believed to be high on youngster Sam Hurd as well.
