As fantasy owners get ready for Week 1, there are several question marks surrounding individual defensive players. Can Mario Williams take over Jared Allen as fantasy’s number one defensive end? How will the Giants fare with Justin Tuck and Mathias Kiwanuka at DE? Can Jacksonville’s Mike Peterson and New Orleans’ Jonathan Vilma make comebacks? And, who will boom and bust? Read more

The Top Fantasy IDPs
August 14, 2008
Each and every year, a plethora of fantasy football owners decide to partake in an IDP league for the first time. Winning an IDP Fantasy Football league can be much easier that it sounds - if you develop a solid strategy. Don’t worry, this one won’t hurt your brain - it’s simple - let other owners waste early picks on high-priced individual defensive players, while you hoard invaluable offensive studs, and let IDP sleepers fall to you in the late rounds. Busy Week Capped Off By Ocho’s Return…
June 12, 2008
Whether or not Ocho Cinco’s recent appearance at Bengals mini-camp was just a token visit for show, the fact of the matter is that he showed up. This gives his fantasy owners much more trade leverage when trying to deal him this off-season, because - at least for now - it looks like he’ll be back with the Bengals in 2008. Normally, this would have been plenty of headline grabbing news for one week during the NFL off-season, but the release of Cedric Benson and the retirement of Michael Strahan and Jonathan Ogden also impacted the landscape of fantasy football heading into 2008. Cedric Benson Not Focused On Football
June 6, 2008
Wondering why former fourth overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft Cedric Benson has grossly underachieved during his first three seasons in the NFL? Paul Posluszny Is Looking Good…
June 5, 2008
We’re getting pretty darn excited about Buffalo Bills MLB Paul Posluszny. We jocked him very hard heading into 2007, but his season ended prematurely due to injury. He has battled back this off-season and is 100 percent healthy now. On top of that, he’s played extremely well and has looked very consistent in practices. We love him as a solid fantasy sleeper in 2008.
Paul Posluszny Participates In Practice…
June 4, 2008
Bills second year LB Paul Posluszny, who’s 2007 season ended in Week 1 due to injury, practiced on Tuesday and made some solid plays.
If he can stay healthy - which we think he will - he’ll be a very solid IDP prospect in 2008.
Bills IDP Update: Poz & Simpson Return…
May 20, 2008
Ko Simpson’s season ended in Week 1 last year due to a broken ankle, and Paul Posluszny’s season ended in Week 3 after suffering a broken forearm.
Both were back on the practice field yesterday running with the first team defense. Poz is a major IDP sleeper in 2008 that fantasy owners should not overlook. Simpson is a complimentary player to SS Donte Whitner, but is still worth watching in deep leagues as a potential waiver wire acquisition.
