Making A Playoff Run?
November 12, 2008
Now is about that time of year when dynasty owners know whether or not they have a chance to win their leagues. Those that do, are usually willing to make some trades to put their team over the top heading into the stretch run, without mortgaging too much of their squad’s future. Seasonal owners have it a little easier, as they can trade multiple pieces for a stud that has a solid six or seven game outlook. Read more
We Were Right About, We Were Wrong About
September 21, 2008
Bills RB Marshawn Lynch has four TDs in his first three games, but put up very modest statistics in Weeks 1 & 2. We told fantasy owners that this would be the week Lynch showed his true colors and finally had a breakout performance. The second year man from Cal followed through for us, racking up 83 yards and two TDs on the ground, while hauling in four passes for 31 yards. Read more
Michael Bush Could Garner Large Role
September 19, 2008
We’ve been telling Michael Bush’s long term owners to stay patient with him. The 6′1″, 260 lb. back from Louisville is dynamic and has first round talent despite being selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Now, as the 2008 NFL season starts to unfold, Bush is starting to look like he could play a huge role in Oakland’s offense. Read more

Williams & Brown Each Want 1,000 Yards…
July 27, 2008
In possibly one of the greatest He-Man-like developments in the history of players making extremely bold, yet entertaining predictions about themselves, 31 year old Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams, who played in about a quarter of a game last season prior to tearing his pectoral muscle and finishing the year on injured reserve, has come out and said that both he and Dolphins starter Ronnie Brown each believe they can rush for 1,000 yards in 2008 - a feat that has never been accomplished before.
Not only would fantasy owners love to see this happen, but so would guys named Bill Parcells, Tony Sparano, Chad Henne, John Beck and Josh McCown - they need all the help they can get.
Discuss this outrageous He-Man on our forums.
The Benefits Of Concerns
July 24, 2008
Fantasy football drafts are all about expectations. Plain and simple, guys drafted in rounds one and two are expected to perform better throughout the season and – in theory – score more fantasy points than guys drafted in rounds three, four and five. However, we all know that doesn’t always happen. Read more

Ronnie, Deuce, WRs & IDPs Rising…
July 7, 2008
Two of fantasy’s former stud running backs suffered absolutely devastating injuries last season, leaving their long term fantasy owners with an extremely tough decision to make. After Ronnie Brown and Deuce McAllister each had their 2007 season snatched away by ACL tears early in the year, many cut ties with them completely, while others decided to patiently wait it out and see what happens in 2008. 2008 Fantasy “X-Factors”
June 19, 2008
2008 is chalked full of guys that could go either way. Guys who are more than capable of putting up huge digits, but only if everything goes perfectly right. We call these guys Fantasy “X-Factors” due to the fact that a certain set of circumstances could spark them to light up the stat column and become a true difference maker. Philly’s Donovan McNabb, who has only played in 33 total games in three seasons since throwing for 3,800 yards and 31 TDs in 2004, is the perfect example of a Fantasy “X-Factor.” Read more

Experts Draft: Roddy White Goes In Rd. 3
June 16, 2008
Falcons WR Roddy White had a breakout third season in 2007, hauling in 83 passes for 1,202 yards and six scores in Bobby Petrino and Hue Jackson’s high flying offense, but will the stat column translate over to 2008 under the much more conservative and run-friendly Mike Smith and Mike Mularkey? We don’t think so, but find out who did, as we analyze the third round of our most recent experts league draft. Read more
Ronnie Brown’s Knee Feeling Great…
June 14, 2008
The South Florida Sun Sentinel is reporting that Ronnie Brown will be 100 percent by September and that the 26 year old’s knee is feeling great. Brown is reportedly “thrilled” with his recovery and rehab process from ACL surgery last season.
We’ve reported the same thing throughout the off-season and feel confident that Brown will have a solid fantasy season despite the presence of Ricky Williams. Brown is a top end RB2 in all leagues.
