I believe I know fantasy owners very well, and if I’m correct, then a lot of them are worried about the contract situation of Rams 25 year old RB Steven Jackson and Packers 25 year old RB Ryan Grant. Last season at this time, Chiefs RB Larry Johnson held out until just before the start of the regular season, resulting in one of his worst starts as a pro. Read more

In Fantasy Football Indepth’s expert challenge, No-Offseason.com went head-to-head with publications like Rotoworld.com, Pro Football Weekly, CBSSports.com, Athlon Sports, FantasyGuru.com, USA Today, Fanball.com and more. Steven Jackson Injury Plagued?

Should fantasy owners be concerned with the health status of Rams 24 year old RB Steven Jackson? After all, he is nursing a groin pull and a sprained ankle right now, after missing four games overall in 2007 with a groin tear.
The short answer - no. Jackson should be fine by the start of the season, but this is worth monitoring, so that’s what we’ll do. Jackson is a top three overall fantasy player in ALL formats.
Steven Jackson Injures Ankle…

Rams RB Steven Jackson reportedly turned his ankle in practice late last week and missed time on Thursday and Friday. Head coach Scott Linehan said the injury is not serious. We’ll monitor the situation.
His dynasty owners are probably holding their breathe right now, as an injury so early in off-season sessions to such a key body part isn’t a great sign.
Dynasty Value vs. Seasonal Results

Andre Johnson’s recent knee injury prompted some serious discussion on our forums regarding his fantasy trade value. He happens to be the perfect example of a player who has solid dynasty value in spite of his most recent injury situation, due to the fact that when healthy, his ceiling is so high - and he has plenty more years left to play.
