Week 10 - Who We Like

November 5, 2008

Week 10 - Who We Like Notice the title of this week’s article is “who we like,” and not “who we dislike.” That’s because with the Buccaneers, Cowboys, Bengals and Redskins on bye this week, there are plenty of fantasy superstars out, leaving owners lifting up rocks, searching for any gem they can find. And we’ve got them for you. Read more

Super Sleeper Running Backs

June 26, 2008

michael-bush.jpgBecause five of the top 25 and 13 of the top 40 fantasy RBs were plucked from the waiver wire in 2007, and guys like Earnest Graham, Ryan Grant, Kenny Watson, Chicago’s Adrian Peterson and Justin Fargas made names for themselves, fantasy owners are now forced to pay attention to just about every single running back on all 32 rosters - but how do you sift through the clutter to find the best super sleepers? Cardinals’ J.J. Arrington Arrested…

June 19, 2008

Cardinals RB J.J. Arrington was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly getting into a fight in North Carolina.

And the problems for NFL players keep on coming. Commish Roger Goodell is likely to let Arrington slide, due to having no prior blemishes while in the NFL. However, this definitely doesn’t help his cause for earning more of a role in the Cardinals’ offense in 2008.

Arrington has no fantasy value, but Cards rookie Tim Hightower is a definite super sleeper worth watching in our eyes, as Edgerrin James continues to slow down.

Cardinals Get A Gem In Tim Hightower…

April 27, 2008

The Arizona Cardinals may have drafted the next Marion Barber in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Hightower is from a small school - Richmond - so he was well under the radar. The 6′0″, 230 pound RB is a powerful runner and can contribute by catching the ball out of the backfield. He has the potential to take over the featured role sometime soon in AZ as 30-year-old Edgerrin James continues to slow down. He reminds us of Brandon Jacobs a few years back, a big, late round back from a small school with high upside.
