Fantasy Football Week 2 Questions Heading into Week 2 of the fantasy season, there are already tons of questions running rampant in the minds of owners. People are trying to figure out what to do with the bizarre Tom Brady-less world that they now live in, after Chiefs strong safety Bernard Pollard rolled into number 12’s knee on the Patriots’ opening drive of the 2008 season. Rookie running backs shined, no name WRs produced and IDPs stepped up to the plate – but there are still certain questions regarding what owners should take from Week 1 and apply to Week 2. We Were Right About, We Were Wrong About…

September 7, 2008

We Were Right About, We Were Wrong About... We were uneasy about Patriots QB Tom Brady this week, and he went down early with a knee injury. We were also extremely high on Eagles QB Donovan McNabb and Lions signal caller Jon Kitna in Week 1, and they came through for us huge. Find out where we went right, and where we steered owners wrong in Week 1. Read more

Should You Be Concerned About Star QBs?

September 3, 2008

Should You Be Concerned About Star QBs? Over the last few seasons, New England’s Tom Brady and Indianapolis’ Peyton Manning have been two of the most consistent quarterbacks that fantasy owners could have ever imagined. Not that they won’t continue to be very solid in 2008, but don’t take their past performances for granted. Read more

Drew Brees Is Fantasy’s Number 1 QB

August 27, 2008

Drew Brees Is Fantasys Number 1 QB For years, Indy’s Peyton Manning has held the distinction, and heading into 2008, nearly every fantasy owner on the planet would tell you that Tom Brady has taken the title of being fantasy football’s top quarterback, following his record breaking 50 TD season in 2007. July 25, 2008

Dont Take Tom Brady Early No disrespect to NFL.com’s Michael Fabiano, you do great work, but I just don’t understand your thought process taking Tom Brady in round one of a recent mock draft. Folks, although Fabiano obviously knows what he’s talking about, I definitely wouldn’t follow his example of taking Brady in round one. Read more

Experts Draft: Moss Is Our 1st Choice

June 12, 2008

randy-moss.jpgOne of our favorite parts about June through August is taking part in several seasonal drafts in fantasy football expert leagues. Not only are they highly competitive, but they’re extremely useful in learning about new trends and analyzing different draft strategies and player values. With the seventh overall choice in the first round, we had a tough decision, but decided to go WR first and roll with New England’s Randy Moss. Read more

Tom Brady’s Ankle Is Just Fine…

June 8, 2008

Patriots QB Tom Brady talked to the media yesterday about his ankle injury. He told them that his ankle is fine, but then made a joke about how he still “can’t run (fast), can’t jump (high)” and doesn’t have great athletic ability. The press then reported that he had serious ankle issues after misinterpreting Brady’s comments completely.

The Patriots QB is healthy, and so is his sense of humor.
