November 30, 2008

We Were Right About, We Were Wrong About We’ve made some extremely nice predictions lately - from identifying legit sleeper wide receivers, running backs and tight ends, to solidifying some new must start players like Carolina’s DeAngelo Williams and Atlanta’s Michael Turner. Caught Riding The Pine?

September 16, 2008

Caught Riding The Pine? Broncos WR Eddie Royal did it again. He followed up his nine catch, 146 yard debut with a five catch, 37 yard performance, including a game winning TD – two-point conversion combo. Even though Brandon Marshall dominates the eye of Jay Cutler, Royal remains a top target on a team that is destined for a shootout against the Saints. Even though he’s likely been left fantasy on benches this season, Royal is a must-start in Week 3. Read more

Rashard Mendenhall Is A Beast

August 15, 2008

Rashard Mendenhall Is A Beast Our sources tell us that they saw what they hoped they’d see out of Steelers first round draft pick Rashard Mendenhall in his preseason NFL debut against the Philadelphia Eagles – the makings of the NFL’s next great featured back. It may seem hard to tell in only seven carries, but our sources are convinced that the 5’11”, 225 pound versatile power back will replace Willie Parker sooner rather than later in the Steelers’ offense. Tony Scheffler Injury Update…

June 6, 2008

Broncos third year TE Tony Scheffler is confident that he’ll absolutely be 100 percent healthy and ready to go for training camp, after re-injuring the bone in his left foot that was broken last year at this time. Scheffler said it was a bit scary at first, because he “heard a pop,” but now he feels much better and may even try to give it a go in June mini-camps.

Scheffler is a solid TE1 prospect if he can stay healthy.

Tony Scheffler Injury Update…

May 24, 2008

Broncos TE Tony Scheffler re-injured his foot last week, but the good news is that it is not broken. Coach Mike Shanahan recently told the media that Scheffler would miss two weeks of practice. The possibility that he misses a month is still strong, but either way, it’s looking like he should be ready for training camp.

Broncos TE Scheffler Out A Month…

May 21, 2008

The Broncos got horrible news on Wednesday when Tony Scheffler re-injured his foot - the same one that was broken last off-season - and will be in a protective boot for one full month.

He looked like a potential top 10 TE as a super sleeper going into 2008, but now he’s a serious injury concern. Don’t consider him better than a sleeper TE2 until further notice.

This also hurts Jay Cutler’s value a bit, as Scheffler was definitely more than just a favorite target.
