Vince Young Almost Retired?

According to Rotoworld, Titans QB Vince Young almost retired during training camp last season. Wow. This news is a little concerning to us, due to the fact that NFL QBs need to be incredibly mentally strong in order to be successful.

Young appears to be having trouble handling the pressure, and this admission is definitely a sign of weakness. He needs to sack up.

VY: “Pacman Is A Good Teammate”

Wow. Titans QB Vince Young came out and stuck up for his boy while talking to the media recently, calling Pacman Jones a “good teammate.” We’re not going to dispute this at all, since nobody from our staff has ever played with Pacman Jones, but from an outsider’s perspective, it doesn’t seem like “making it rain” on strippers, causing people to get murdered at strip clubs, having more run-ins with the law than career interceptions, and getting suspended for more than half your career - thus leaving your teammates out to dry - doesn’t seem like being a “good teammate.” Also, would a “good teammate” be trying to sell himself to another team right now?

Titans DE Kyle Vanden Bosch definitely doesn’t think Pacman is a good teammate, so the consensus isn’t there. So, the only question left for fantasy owners to ask themselves is - what does this tell us about VY?
