We know, it’s still only early June, but recently a report surfaced that Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook will likely miss the season opener due to surgery on his ankle. Our sources tell us that another Pro Bowl caliber player may also miss Week 1 this year.
We’ve heard that Colts PK Adam Vinatieri is in need of an unknown surgical procedure, and could very well miss the season opener. We’ll keep you updated throughout the off-season as we learn more.
