Brett Favre has finally signed with the Minnesota Vikings, and we’ve updated our player rankings accordingly. Word is that even though the Vikings have plenty of weapons for Favre to throw to, including rookie WR Percy Harvin, who we’re extremely high on, they’re apparently concerned with the health issues of Bernard Berrian and Bobby Wade.
Our sources believe there’s a chance Brad Childress’ team could add another pass catcher prior to the start of the regular season. With Matt Jones and Marvin Harrison available, Favre could push for something like this to happen.
We’re hearing the organization could even be interested in troubled WR Plaxico Burress, who could be eligible to play during the second half of the 2009 season - just when the Vikes would actually need him. Stay tuned.
