The Sporting News is reporting that running back Shaun Alexander has reiterated that he is not retired and that he wants to play this season. Alexander believes some team will take a chance on him at some point this season.
Our View
Some team took a chance on Alexander last season, and the Redskins did not benefit from his 2.2 yard average over 11 carries. Now Alexander is another year older, and he has even less value than he did last season. There may be a team willing to give him a chance this season, but they shouldn't expect much in return.
