Bullocks being moved to strong safety

Bears defensive back Josh Bullocks has been switched from free safety to strong safety according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View
Although he was brought in this past offseason as a free safety, he will be competing with returning starter Kevin Payne for the Bears starting strong safety gig. There has been no indication yet as to who is the favorite, but Bullocks has said that learning the strong safety position will pay long term dividends for him.
