The Packers offered a first and third-round tender to restricted free agent safety Nick Collins, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

This keeps Collins from hitting the free agent market, but the goal here for the Packers is still a long-term deal. After rumors of a holdout, Collins' agent now says that he is optimistic that an agreement can be reached.
