The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that the knee surgery that Marques Colston underwent this offseason was a microfracture knee surgery. He has already return to practice during the on-going OTA's.
Our View
It was previously believed that he had simply had his knee scoped. It sounds as if he is ahead of schedule in his recovery, but this procedure is as serious as they come. Colston has lost some fantasy value as he was injured throughout most of last season. With Drew Brees under center, a healthy Colston could once again be a top 10 wide receiver.
