Antonio Cromartie has been charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly throwing a champagne bottle at somebody's head in a San Diego bar late last month, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

It is not yet known how this will affect his future playing status. Unlike recent high-profile NFL indiscretions, such as Plaxico Burress' and Michael Vick's, Cromartie is only charged with a misdemeanor, and not a felony. That is good news for him.
