Head coach Todd Haley said he perceives Brodie Croyle playing a "critical role" for the Chiefs going forward, according to the team's official site.
Our View
Don't get too carried away by "critical role", because Matt Cassel remains the definite starter heading into next season. Still, Croyle must feel nice about his job security as the clear-cut backup of the future.
