According to the Boston Globe, Patriots' rookie Julian Edelman is making a smooth transition from quarterback to receiver. Edelman, a quarterback at Kent State in college, is said to have looked good in OTAs as a receiver so far.
Our View
Edelman will have a tough time making this team, but if he can prove that his hands are good enough and that he knows how to run routes he could make the team as a wildcat or trick play kind of player. His versatility will give him a chance, but he still has to prove he can handle the duties of a wide receiver.
