Forte staring at a timeshare in Chicago?

The News
The Bears appear to be shifting to somewhat of a platoon between Matt Forte and rookie Kahlil Bell, something that pretty much everyone in the organization, including Forte and head coach Lovie Smith, seem to be on board with, according to the Chicago Tribune. "We would like to play more than one guy," Smith said. "One guy can't take that type of load constantly."

Our View
Bell emerged onto the scene in Week 11 and received 11 carries to Forte's 24 against St. Louis last week. Given Forte's year-long struggles (3.4 yards per carry), an increased role for Bell shouldn't come as too much of a shock. Forte will continue to start, but look for his workload to be slightly decreased going forward, which should be enough not to play him if you have any other decent options, especially given his awful schedule the next three weeks.
