The News
Colts president Bill Polian revealed that, in the midst of the constant setbacks to Anthony Gonzalez's knee since he injured it in Week 1, the receiver underwent arthroscopic surgery to help fix it, according to the Indy Football Report. Polian didn't specify exactly when the procedure occurred.
Our View
No wonder it's taken Gonzalez so long to recover, after his initial timetable had him returning by around Week 7. The Colts haven't completely given up on a potential Gonzalez return this season, but it's highly unlikely he'll be on the field anytime the next three weeks, and thus he can be safely dropped in all fantasy leagues.
