Manning solid, but not quite good enough to win

The News
Peyton Manning went 31-of-45 for 333 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Colts' Super Bowl loss on Sunday.

Our View
Manning played well, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to overcome the Saints. Manning's fourth quarter interception that was returned for a touchdown by Tracy Porter proved to be the deciding play in the game, though you can be sure that he'll be one of the top quarterbacks in the league once again next year.
