The News
Curtis Painter replaced Peyton Manning during the third quarter of the Week 16 game against the Jets. The Colts were leading 15-10 at the time, and Manning had thrown for 192 yards and no scores.

Our View
Painter, a sixth-round pick out of Purdue, took the first regular season snap of his career and will soon throw his first career NFL pass. It's a disappointing day for those people who gambled on Manning.
