The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns have placed defensive tackle Shaun Rogers on injured reserve, ending his 2009 season. Rogers reportedly suffered a broken ankle in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
Our View
The team is just calling this a lower leg injury, but the speculation is that he broke his ankle. The Browns don't have much going for them right now, and Rogers was actually one of the bright spots on this team. He will be missed, and LT looks like an even better play for next week's Chargers-Browns match-up.
