The News
Barry Sims will start at left tackle for the 48ers in place of the injured Joe Staley on Sunday, according to the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat. Sims filled in for Staley in last week's game after Staley suffered the injury.
Our View
Sims is no Joe Staley, but he is a serviceable replacement. He did a nice job last week against the Colts, so he should be able to put a nice effort together again this week against the Titans.
