According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, first-round draft pick Jason Smith is expected to start on opening day.
Our View
Smith is extremely talented, not to mention the fact that the Rams are paying him a bundle, so it doesn't make sense to sit him. He is slotted at right tackle, but may move around depending on his performance. He was the number-two overall pick in the draft and is expected to be a difference maker in St. Louis this season.
