Jared Cook, TE, South Carolina, 6′5″, 246 lbs., 4.55 forty
Pre-NFL Draft Fantasy Profile: The first-team all conference selection in 2008 is recognized less for his non-impressive stat column, and more for his freakish athletic ability. Head coach Steve Spurrier has compared him to Calvin Johnson. Many scouts believe he could have been much better in college with more consistent QB play. Like a few other TEs on our list, Cook could make a massive impact at the pro level if he lands in the right spot. Expect him to go in round two on draft day, and potentially go in rounds four or five of fantasy rookie drafts. He had an arm span of 35 3/4 inches and a hand span of 10 1/4 inches at the combine.
Cook ran a 4.50 forty at the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine, the best among TEs.
