Rhett Bomar, QB, Sam Houston State, 6′2″, 215 lbs., 4.75 forty
Pre-NFL Draft Fantasy Profile: Bomar is a football talent that almost gave away his career after getting paid for not working while at Oklahoma. Clearly character concerns will be an issue for NFL scouts, but more importantly they will question if he has developed into a promising quarterback at Sam Houston State. We don’t think so, and we feel that Bomar is in the tier two section of QBs in this draft.
Unless you’re in some REALLY deep leagues, we don’t recommend picking up Bomar in your dynasty draft. Sure the guy might get a break somewhere, and he does have physical skills to succeed, but the probability of it all coming together for him is very small. We will say this, Bomar is at the last QB we’d consider drafting. Everyone after him falls off exponentially.
