Pre-NFL Draft Fantasy Profile: Dynasty owners beware, do yourself a huge favor and familiarize yourself with Donald Brown as soon as possible. He could be this year’s version of Chris Johnson. Depending on his showing at the combine, Brown could be a quick riser heading into April. He rushed for 2,083 yards and 18 TDs on 367 carries in 2008. That’s a ton of carries, but he averaged six yards a pop. We’re anxious to see what kind of spring and summer this kid has, as he’s someone who could very well creep into the late first or early second round of the draft. As of now, he’s a sure fire first round dynasty rookie draft pick.
Brown was extremely impressive at the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine, clocking a 4.51 forty yard dash time (fifth among RBs), and performing extremely well in the shuttles and jumps. He’s reminding us more and more of Maurice Jones-Drew every day.
