There’s never a shortage of very interesting action on the No-Offseason.com forums. Currently, several of our readers are updating us on the status of their dynasty drafts, and as you can imagine - there are plenty of intriguing things happening.
A good example of something that grabs our attention, is that Chargers QB Philip Rivers appears to potentially be the third best dynasty QB in the eyes of several owners. He was selected before Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers and Chicago’s Jay Cutler in a recent dynasty draft, which contradicts our most recent rankings.
Still, a case can definitely be made for selecting Rivers ahead of those two, as he is rapidly becoming one of the best signal callers in the NFL, and his stat column reflected that fact last year. With a healthy Antonio Gates, and a vastly improved Vincent Jackson, Rivers has a core group of targets to hit. Not to mention that the Chargers will likely move away from LaDanian Tomlinson and rely more on Rivers and the passing game moving forward, means that his fantasy ceiling is very high.
Now that the NFL Draft is over, start preparing for your 2009 drafts by checking out our updated Dynasty Rookie BIg Board, as well as updated 2009 fantasy football player rankings on our Ultimate Strategist Package forums.
