With the fantasy playoffs approaching, it’s extremely important to make the right line-up decisions every week. Check out which players are must-starts in Week 13, and who we like as sleeper candidates.
QBs we like…
Even though Jacksonville’s season hasn’t gone the way they’d like it to, hop on the David Garrard fantasy train as he’s sure to throw for a lot of yardage, and maybe even score with his feet against the Cleveland defense. We also like Kerry Collins as an awesome sleeper at Detroit, Chad Pennington should probably be in all line-ups against the Rams and Joe Flacco is a great sleeper against Cincy. Jeff Garcia, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler are all great plays, but rookie Matt Ryan ranks in our top three signal callers against the Chargers this week.
RBs we like…
Michael Turner, who has seven TDs in his last three games, is an obvious must start against his old team, San Diego. Maurice Jones-Drew is a must start in PPR leagues, and Clinton Portis - regardless of the injury report - is a must-start against the G-Men. We like Joseph Addai against Cleveland, Thomas Jones against Denver, Mewelde Moore against New England and Kevin Smith against Tennessee. Our top sleeper RBs of the week though are Ronnie Brown against St. Louis, and LenDale White and Chris Johnson against Detroit.
WRs we like…
We love Dwayne Bowe at Oakland, Bernard Berrian vs. Chicago, Terrell Owens vs. Seattle, Brandon Jones at Detroit and Matt Jones at Houston. Marvin Harrison at Cleveland, Chris Chambers at Atlanta, Lav Coles vs. Denver and Steve Breaston at Philly are all solid sleeper candidates.
TEs we like…
Dallas Clark is a must start and should have a huge game against Cleveland, same with Jason Witten against Seattle, Tony Gonzalez at Oakland and Antonio Gates vs. Atlanta. Dustin Keller is a great sleeper against Denver, as is Zach Miller against Kansas City and Todd Heap at Cincy.
