Underachieving Wide Receivers

September 25, 2008

Underachieving Wide ReceiversInevitably, many fantasy owners find themselves dumbfounded and perplexed by the poor play of several wide receivers that were considered top of the line pass catchers heading into the 2008 season. Granted, one of them has only played two games, and another lost his starting QB in Week 1, but for the others, there seems to be no legitimate reason why they shouldn’t be playing well right now. May 29, 2008

May 26, 2008

Cleveland media is reporting that Browns 29 year old RB Jamal Lewis is looking very good in practice. Lewis is reportedly in the best shape of his career, looking lean and strong. The Browns RB has predicted that he’ll reach 1,500 yards this season.

Apparently, Braylon Edwards has also looked very strong in practices, despite his recent hip injury, and WR Donte’ Stallworth has struggled a bit trying to learn the pass routes in Rob Chudzinski’s offense.
