Wes Welker Returns To Practice…

Word out of Patriots camp is that fantasy stud Wes Welker had missed the past few days of practice with an undisclosed injury, but returned today. The Patriots don’t give injury updates, but we assume that this isn’t anything serious, due to the fact that it’s only June, and players resting minor injuries is very common this time of year.

What’s interesting is that while Welker was out, Chad Jackson worked with the first team, and Jabar Gaffney took Welker’s place in the slot.

Remember Chad Jackson?

The Patriots selected former Florida WR Chad Jackson in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and he has since fallen off the face of the Earth due to injury problems. Apparently now he’s come back and looked great in the Patriots’ passing camp. Several Boston media outlets were very impressed with Jackson’s speed, hands and route running.
